We love some hiking and trekking now my kids are teenager are it’s easier but when they were little we dd most of the things you point, the shoes are so important and also a nice hat and sunscreen.

Those are some great tips. I don’t usually go hiking with my kids but I do know that if I ever do go I’ll refer to this list and water will always be my priority to have along with a snack of course.
