When my kids were little, our village offered free photo ID pictures for kids. It was a great idea and parents turned out in droves.

This is such a good idea and it sounds silly, but it’s a fabulous idea to have a kit ready. Having lived in an area with tornados, then hurricanes (we move a lot), I do think it’s important. Now we live in a colder climate and drive to the mountains, and I’m definitely going to pack a winter bag. I never thought about having a sharpie, but that is such a good tip! Thanks for the suggestions!

What a great idea to put a kit together, I really need to do this! I love the idea of the 5 Day Survival Backpack and the one Honeyville offers isn’t that expensive, it’s actually very reasonable for what they are offering IMO!
