For about 8 years I struggled with finding any information about which port they arrived in. A few years ago when all the records between Ancestry and the LDS church were free, I was able to spend unlimited amounts of time searching passenger lists. I finally found the 2 ships that his family traveled over on, and the information on the passenger list detailed the city they were from and their occupations.
