Having a baby the third time around, I’ve learned that it is worth it to get high quality products that make my life SO much easier. Amazon.com was definitely my friend while I was on bed rest.
With my last two babies, I experimented with several slings and the Baby Bjorn. I LOVED the Baby Bjorn when my babies were older, but didn’t love it as much with newborns who had no head control. The sling I bought just never seemed to fit right and it hurt whichever shoulder it was on.
So I surveyed my friends and many recommended the Moby Wrap Original 100% Cotton Baby Carrier, Chocolate.
When I first got it out of the package, I was daunted by this long length of fabric. Luckily, the instruction manual was super easy to read and after a few tries it was easier to put on then the Bjorn. Plus youtube.com has plenty of videos that were helpful, too, that you can check out here: http://youtu.be/HcIlGUCG6mE
In the above picture, Kyler was about three weeks old and we had a blast at Gardner Village. He slept the whole time snuggled up next to me. Most of the time he was deeper in the wrap, but I pulled it down a little for the picture. The wrap has been a life saver at home and at meal time as well. So nice to have my hands free and I know that it is beneficial for baby to be wrapped up against me.

hi, i found your blog on MMB community where I am also a member. I also have a moby wrapf(the green one) but I was only able to use it once with our first son because I am kind of too small (5'2″) and the fabric was too long for me. I couldn't get the “maneuvers” down pretty easily so I gave up on it. But I loved it too. I still have it with me, hoping I can use it with our second (who is turning 3 months old) someday because he doesn't like being in the baby carrier that we have (Ergo Baby) right now. Well maybe he'll like being tucked inside the Ergo when he's a little bit older.
