This picture is totally going to be me on August 24th. The Color Runย in Salt Lake City is on my bucket list of 5Ks and ready for the best news? My five-year-old Lily is going to run it with me! She just aced a walk-a-thon at her school and runs circles around me at home so why not do The Color Run together?
When I am planning which 5Ks to run for the year I follow my 3 C’s:
- Course – I love a unique or beautiful course.
- Cause – It’s a bonus if I get to support a local charity while burning the calories.

K, so I really wanna do this with you guys! I have never ran a 5k before, but have started the C25k program and are a few weeks in and have been looking for my first 5k to run- something fun where speed isn’t the main goal because i’m slow ๐
