Every year the ladies in my extended family make the trek up to Park City, Utah, for a whirlwind weekend of shopping, fabulous food, hot tubs, and great company. Some years we try out new restaurants, but we always manage to sneak in a few old favorites. Baja Cantina has made the cut several times. Located at the Park City Mountain Resort, Baja Cantina is ideal for unwinding after a long day at the Tanger Outlets.
My personal favorite item from Baja Cantina’s menu is the chicken flauta appetizer. The lightly-fried flautas were crisp on the outside and cheesey gooey on the inside – delicious – I tell you. Dip those flautas in guacamole and sour cream and I am in heaven. My sister and I split a four-piece order of flautas and a Baja Nacho. Both were amply sized and we had oodles of leftovers.
My mom introduced us to Park City Pizza Co for our quick Saturday afternoon lunch. We knew we would be having a big meal in the evening so we needed a little something just to tide us over. The fam was raving about the breadsticks so I knew I had to check them out. The order was sized just right for the four of us to share and just as good as promised. Park City Pizza Co has a fun collection of board games that you can play while you wait and I am happy to report that I dominated at Sorry. Such a fun game – can’t wait to play it with my littles.
Park City Pizza Co definitely made the favorites list and it is a bonus that it is locally owned – love supporting local businesses!
Now that I’ve covered a dinner and a quick lunch – time for breakfast! Saturday is a full day of shopping for us and in the past we’ve just made a quick stop via the McDonald’s drive thru. Although a sausage egg mcmuffin is one of my guilty pleasures, it does not a healthy breakfast make. My Total Nutrition sample from Immortal Herbs mixed with delicious juice from Bolthouse Farms was the perfect boost for my morning. Lucky for me, Total Nutrition is rich in antioxidants, amino acids, enzymes, nutrients, vitamins, and phytonutrient – all of which are required to take your body from “surviving” to “vibrant”. This mama needs to her energy when she hits the outlets!
I definitely had more energy that morning and I loved that the powder was super easy to use. I poured the supplement into my juice, gave it a long shake with the lid on, and I was ready to go. With all the super foods ingredients – wheat grass, spinach, orange peel, blueberry, pomegranate – to name a few – it was fabulous knowing that I already had the bulk of my fruits, veggies, vitamins, and minerals taken care for the day! When I am vacation, I don’t want to worry about eating healthy, but I do still want to feel great.
I loved all of our fabulous food finds in Park City!

I am a pizza girl, so my fave restaurant is The Pizza Place and my fave to go snack is some sun chips or something else crunchy.
