I can’t believe that my children are headed back to school in two weeks! We’ve all ready made two trips to Walmart to stock up on back to school supplies. I am the Reflections Chair for PTA this year so I’ve got a lot on my list! I’m fully stocked with sidewalk chalk, pencils, glue sticks, Kleenex, and lots of other goodies. I brought this little guy along as my helper.
Even though I am the Reflections Chair, I’m looking out for my friends who are in charge of Box Tops for Education for the elementary school this year. Oh boy do I love that I earn double box tops at Walmart on Kleenex, Viva Vintage, and Scott 1000 toilet paper. With two kids eager to turn them in, I need all the Box Tops I can get. We’ve been collecting box tops all summer long and I’ve figured out a fun way to store them. It was super easy to make!
Here’s what I did:
- Save the lid when you first open a tissue box. Just tape it to the side until the Kleenex box is empty.
- Remove the plastic from the opening.
- Measure the height of the Kleenex box and cut the box lid so that it fits nicely inside lengthwise.
5. Use tape or glue to secure the divider inside the Kleenex box.
6. Write each child’s name on their side of the box.
Voila! You’ve got a simple and easy way to divide up your box tops! My kids love trimming the box tops and putting them in their side of the Kleenex box. The patterns on the boxes are so fun that there’s no need to do extra decorating!
